School Team Learning Cohort Series*: Unpacking Collective Trauma & Reimagining Belonging in Schools
This hybrid learning series equips school teams to foster healing, belonging, and culturally responsive practices across their communities.
Part 3: Building a Long-Term Healing Ecosystem
In this final virtual session, teams will reflect on their growth, examine system-level levers for sustaining healing work, and envision how healing-centered practices can be woven into policies, structures, and staffing. The session culminates in collective visioning for schools as ecosystems of healing, belonging, and possibility.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
– Reflect on growth and identify key factors that supported healing-centered progress.
– Explore strategies for embedding healing practices into policies, systems, and structures for sustainability.
– Engage in collective visioning to articulate a bold, long-term vision for healing and belonging in their school community.
Facilitator: Dr. Crystal Martin (NYU MetroCenter)
*Note: In order to attend this session, your school team MUST have been in attendance at Part 1. Collaborative members will use ONE School Team Learning Cohorts seat per participant for this three-part series.
