This two-hour virtual session* is designed for ALL instructional staff and will build your understanding of how to create a strong foundation for success for your students with disabilities and multilingual learners this school year. First, you’ll learn ways to create psychologically safe learning environments that promote equity and access. Then, you’ll deep dive into research-based, high leverage, practical strategies to create access to grade-level instruction. With plenty of time for peer-to-peer discussion and Q&A, you’ll leave with a deeper knowledge of supporting ALL learners and concrete ideas for scaffolding instruction from day one.
Facilitators: Ellie Grose & Rene Minnocci
*Note: Summer Session is available only to Enhanced & Premier Collaborative members. If you are missing the Zoom link, please reach out to specialpops@nyccharterschools.org.
