How do I use students’ IEP goals to drive my instructional planning? If this is a question you have, then this session is for you! In this virtual workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn about implementing specially designed instruction (SDI) for their students with disabilities. We will review how to understand students’ needs and provide targeted and explicit instruction to students that addresses their IEP goals. Through both whole group and small group activities, participants will reflect on how to design SDI specific to students’ IEP goals with the ultimate goal of increasing student mastery and autonomy.
