Leading a special education program means navigating federal, state, and local law , while simultaneously building the systems, structures, and culture that make compliance and quality possible day to day. This full day, in-person session covers the full scope of what it takes to run a compliant, high-quality special education program in NYC charter schools. You’ll move from special education history and legal foundations through systems-building and into what it means to lead your school’s special education work with confidence. You’ll also leave with a digital binder of key resources, tools, and templates to support implementation.

- Apply tools and templates to ensure fidelity across your school’s special education program
