As NYSED rolls out its new Portrait of a Graduate high school exit requirements, make sure your high school is up to date on the timeline and key action items to finalize in Fall 2026. In Part 2 of this two-part SEAT-FREE series for high school leadership team members, we’ll review what we know so far about NYSED’s vision for the Portrait of a Graduate and look at ways to analyze the stakeholder feedback gathered since the Part 1 session in October. Schools will leave with greater clarity on how to analyze their stakeholder feedback to potentially guide the further rollout of the Portrait of a Graduate at their individual high school.
By the end of this Part 2 session, you will be able to:
- Review key elements of NYSED’s Portrait of a Graduate framework and updated rollout timeline
- Apply strategies for analyzing stakeholder feedback gathered during your school’s Part 1 planning
- Identify how stakeholder feedback can inform and shape your high school’s Portrait of a Graduate rollout going forward
