The MLL/OPs Huddle is a collaborative professional learning session designed to prepare MLL/ELL educators and Operations staff for the Spring 2026 NYSESLAT. Using the NYSESLAT Checklist as our blueprint, we will walk through key dates, essential reminders, and the must-dos for test administration, security, and logistics. The session will focus on the critical collaboration touch points between instructional and operations teams—from ATS reports and materials setup to testing schedules, coverages, scanning, and packing.
Participants will engage in polls, discussions, and breakout groups to surface school-specific needs and strengthen shared workflows. Breakout options will include ATS & systems, Speaking, L/R/W, materials setup, and scanning/packing procedures. By the end of the session, teams will leave with clarity, aligned roles, and actionable next steps for a smooth and compliant NYSESLAT administration.
