In Part 2 of this two-part series*, we will explore key, evidence-based instructional practices that create equitable classroom ecosystems and positively impact student achievement, as well as social-emotional and behavioral health. Participants will dive deeper into systems coaching, understanding its roots in implementation science and its unique role in supporting behavioral interventions. Through reflection and guided questions, participants will assess the quality of current behavioral practices and explore tools and strategies for supporting teachers 1:1 or within data teams. This session will also provide freely available online resources that attendees can continue using after the conclusion of the PD.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Name and describe research on the impact of coaching on the adoption of behavioral interventions
- Identify instructional strategies for improvement in their school
- Identify a coaching strategy to enhance in their own setting
Facilitator: Dr. Erin Chaparro
