This FREE information session for high school counselors and MLL/ELL leads aims to cover everything prospective students need to know before enrolling in the CUNY Language Immersion Program (CLIP), an intensive English immersion program for students who are not yet proficient in academic English. We cover the basics, including our instructional model, our nine locations, and how students can enroll. We also offer guidance on how to decide if this is the right program for a student – even one who has been marked “proficient” but isn’t sure if they have the necessary academic English skills for college classes yet. There will be ample opportunity for questions after the presentation.
