As we enroll new students, we sometimes encounter IEP goals that aren’t as SMART as we’d like them to be. In this SEAT-FREE session, we’ll explore effective strategies for refining and adjusting IEP goals to guide specially designed instruction until a student’s next IEP meeting. We’ll discuss unpacking standards, centering IEP goals in unit planning, progress monitoring, and more! Time will also be built out for work time and Q&A, so bring your “inherited” IEPs and questions!
