Assess Like a Pro: Differentiation That Actually Works (and Students Love!)

March 3 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

- $350

Let’s be honest—traditional assessments don’t work for every student and can feel tedious for everyone involved. In this session, we’ll flip the script and explore how to create assessments that are dynamic, student-centered, and engaging. Secondary educators will discover strategies to design inclusive assessments that celebrate student individuality, offer meaningful choices, and prioritize student voice. Walk away ready to ditch the one-size-fits-all approach and build assessments that foster equity, excitement, and student ownership.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Create differentiated assessments that meet students where they are and highlight their strengths
  • Design assessment options that empower students to choose how they demonstrate their learning
  • Reimagine assessment practices to be inclusive, engaging, and aligned with collaborative inclusion education goals

Facilitator: Evalaurene Jean-Charles
